Jessica Kuntz

Jessica Kuntz is the policy director for the University of Pittsburgh Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security. 

Kuntz previously served as a Foreign Service Officer at the US Department of State, with assignments in London, Tel Aviv, the US Mission to the United Nations and the Bureau of International Organization Affairs. During her tenure with the State Department, she worked on immigration policy, sustainable development and development financing, and multilateral coordination. Prior to her work in the US diplomatic corps, she worked as a federal strategy consultant at Deloitte LLP, where her clients included the Department of Energy National Laboratories and the Department for Housing and Urban Development.  

Kuntz grew up in Pittsburgh and holds degrees from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. She also completed a Fulbright research fellowship in Croatia and a Boren fellowship in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She speaks Hebrew and Portuguese.
