Pitt Cyber’s Cybersecurity Camp Highlighted by the White House

Pitt Cyber was highlighted in today’s White House Fact Sheet on expanding pathways into good-paying jobs. In May, the Biden-Harris Administration announced five Workforce Hubs, including Pittsburgh. Pitt Cyber’s annual CyberCamp for high school students was included as one of the highlighted commitments, highlighting the Camp’s building of a “strong pipeline of cybersecurity professionals by training over 500 high school students in cybersecurity basics, ethics, and career opportunities by 2028.”

Pitt Cyber’s annual CyberCamp is free for high school students and has served over 1,000 students since 2017. The 2024 CyberCamp will be held June 24-28, 2024 and registration will open in spring 2024. Additional information can be found here.
