Future of X Salon Series - Hosted by Pitt Cyber and CMU SEI

Date

April 11, 2018 - 2:00pm

The University of Pittsburgh Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security and Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute are hosting a joint salon series, Future of X.

The Future of X series convenes experts from both universities, as well as around the world, on critical technology-related challenges. The participants are thought leaders, policymakers, and industry leaders from across disciplines and professions, recognizing that these challenges require an all-in, boundary-breaking approach.

Each salon results in a public white paper that shares the discussion and resulting recommendations. Initial topics to be examined include, the security and privacy of precision medicine; the ethics of artificial intelligence; corporate boards and cybersecurity; and critical infrastructure protection.
